Adobe PDF Pack is one service that allows you to create, export, sign, and track PDF files. Although you cannot edit PDF files in Adobe PDF Pack, but you can convert documents and images to PDF.

Create PDF

The users who have paid subscription can easily create PDFs from multiple file formats, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and images.  All the created files will be automatically saved in your Adobe PDF Pack account.

Convertible File types:

  • Microsoft Word (DOC, DOCX)
  • Microsoft Excel (XLS, XLSX)
  • Microsoft PowerPoint (PPT, PPTX)
  • Microsoft Publisher (PUB)
  • Text (TXT)
  • Adobe InDesign (INDD)
  • Adobe PostScript® (PS)
  • Adobe Fill & Sign (FORM)
  • Image (bitmap, JPEG, GIF, TIFF, PNG)
  • OpenOffice and StarOffice presentation, spreadsheet, graphic, and document files (ODT, ODP, ODS, ODG, ODF, SXW, SXI, SXC, SXD, STW).

Important Note: Password protected, secure, 3D, or part of a PDF Portfolio files cannot be combined.

  • Click on the Sign In option at the upper-right side corner of the Reader DC window.
  • Adobe Sign In dialog will come up, enter your Adobe ID and password to sign in.
  • Click Create PDF in the right pane.
  • If you do not select any file, the currently opened file will be selected for conversion by default. To convert any particular file, click on the option Select File To Convert To PDF. To select another file, browse the option again.
  • Finally click on the Convert button.

You will find converted to PDF file in your Adobe PDF Pack account.

Follow the instruction described below to export PDF from Acrobat Reader DC

Exporting Adobe PDF is a very useful feature as it allows reusing the content stored in PDF files. Using this feature, you can avoid retyping the information. To turn PDF files into editable Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and RTF (rich text format) documents, it is a good option to use Adobe Export PDF.

Before exporting PDF, make sure that you have a paid subscription of the Adobe Export PDF service. You can covert a PDF document in one of the various file formats, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and RTF.

How to Export PDF

  1. Click on the Sign In button at the upper-right corner of the Reader DC window.
  2. Adobe Sign In dialog will come up, enter your Adobe ID and password to sign in.
  3. Click Export PDF in the right pane.
  4. If you do not select any file, the currently opened file will be selected for conversion by default. To convert any particular file, click on the option Select File To Convert To PDF. To select another file, browse the option again.
  5. Choose your desired format from the Convert To drop-down list.

Please Note that you set the Document Language correctly. It should be the same as per the language used in the text document used if you are exporting a scanned document or image. If you need to change the language, click on Change option and select an appropriate language from the list. Then follow the remaining steps of Exporting PDF file:

  1. Click on Convert button.
  2. The file will be exported and saved in your Acrobat.com account in the selected format.
  3. To save your converted document to your personal system, click Save As to save.
